Well I went and did it. Blew out my knee again this morning. Was supposed to drive the 1206 IH over and blow snow for my MIL. SIL is home for the weekend, he's an over the raod trucker. Loves driving tractor. So with me not being able to use a clutch very well I sent him to do the MIL's and my hard headed Marine's drives. What should have been about a 1 1/2 hour job has now turned into a 4 hour job. My daughter informs me that he is having a ball!

I finally got a little tractor time myself today. I hadn't been on one since probably mid November when I quit plowing for the week. Dad finished the field and my brother never got all of his poly mulch out of the next one, so the tractor is sitting right where Dad parked it with the plow on it.

I hopped on my 1600 and drove around in the snow, pulled out a chopper box that's 1/2 full of bedding that for whatever reason we never got unloaded. The cross apron is frozen now with bedding and ice so I parked it so the sun could get to the apron to thaw it out when it warms up some. After that I just drove the outside edges of the field. Amazing how my mood improved, even without a seat frame on that tractor right now.
