Well the boy won his first match tonight and will be up after bit for another. Score was 12-2. I'll post updates.

| Well he got beat in overtime. His season is done at a record of 32-7. I'm proud of him!

If he wins he's garenteed at least a 5th or 6th place medal and if he loses he's out of it. He wrestles 138lb class c and it's stacked this year. Last years state title winner is the 3rd seed if that tells you how tough it is. His season recorn is 32-6.

| I should say if he wins his match tomorrow he's gaurenteed at least a 5th or 6th place medal but the best he can do is 3rd.

| Congratulations! Good to hear he is starting well. Could you explain the scoring system, we never had wrestling here so other than pinning the other guy I don't know a whole lot.

Takedown (advantage0 2 PTS
Escape 1 pt
Reversal 2 pts
The ref adds "back points" for near pins as He sees them on a 1 count

| And congratulations to Huskers, that's an exciting sport to watch, especially if you have someone in it. I'm pullin for your son!
When my son (wrestled at 132) was a JR. they took the Stat Championship, as a SR they were 2nd. An exciting time for me and I never missed one match of His!
