Tractor Mac books

I posted this on the farmll forum, but figured I should put it here too.

Have you seen these books? they're great.

somebody just gave me one as a joke.

They're meant for very young kids, but the author is obviously a fan of old tractors.

The drawings are very accurate (cartoony - but very accurate) - mostly of a farmall M as the main character, but other tractors are in there too.

If you've got young kids or grandkids, check them out.

If you're going to sit and read silly books to a kid, they might as well be books about old tractors - it'll keep you interested just as much as the kids.
check them out here

I have every one; started buying them for my grandsons a few years ago. Have met the author, Billy Steers, a couple of times: Red Power Show in Bloomsburg, PA and at the NYS Pageant of Steam in Canadaigua, NY. He and his family are nice people.

Just so happens that I have a Farmall Super H the grandkids call "Mac," a 46 Ford 2N they call "Small Fred," and JD B they call "Lucy" and my wife has a 52 CJ3A Willys Jeep.

I wish I had found them when my kids were younger.

Now I'll just have to wait for grandkids.

(or just buy them all for myself and read them when nobody's looking.)
