Obscure locations to buy tractors

I have bought tractors at obscure locations in the past; such as Lottics Corner, Indiana, there is probably only one other person on the forum that knows where that is. I bought a tractor at Watts Sidding, Minnesota; You sandhill Nebraska people, do you know where Table, Nebraska was located? I'm not making up the names of these places.

Been there but never bought anything. We had a vet here for a year or so who was from there.

Tennessee has Finger, Only, Bucksnort, Skull Bone and Bell Buckle to name a few off the top of my head.

Not a catchy name like the others but I bought some iron in Englehart, Ontario, Canada this past summer. Look that up on your Rand McNally. I hadn't been ther in 35 years, this was a good reason to go back.

I know it's not a town but I have freinds living on "EASY STREET" Funk, Nebraska. They say when talking buisness on the phone folks don't believe them.

Been to Gnawbone & Beanblossom, Indiana. Look on a map for Ransom, MI, if you're not from this part of the state you won't find it, but that's where our antique tractor club property is located.

I bought a trailer in Orange City, Ia once. Nothing orange about that town, they like green!

I drove past Gayville, SD many times. Never decided to step foot in that town! They probably have a parade everyday and are all normal, but I was unarmed each time.

How about Tightwad, Peculiar, Vulcan, Low Wassle, Village of Four, Novelty, Moody, Butts,Licking, Bacon, Knob Lick, Half Way, Enough, Bland, or Arab Missouri.

Boring is now officially the sister town of Dull, Scotland according to the CBC news I listen to on weeknights.

And what part of Tennessee are you from. I had already thought I would say something about Skullbone.

y local case dealer is in Pease Mn. I always thought it was a shame the next town wasn't call Carrots.

Gay, Michigan in the UP. Of course the Gay Bar sells shirts to the snowmobile crowd.

I chuckle at Big Bone Lick, Ky, everytime I go past the exit.

My favorite... Climax, Mi.

Never bought a tractor from these towns yet.

There is a Climax, MN also.

My Grandpa made this up when I was knee high to a grasshopper,

Its about area towns.

Hanley Falls,
Cottonwood,
Hazel Run,
Clarkfield,
Marshall,
Wood Lake?

Thats where I live!

You are correct on the location of Watts Siding.
Are you from up that way? Are you familiar with Biewers Tractor in Barnsville, Minn.?

Well, I live around Martin but grew up not too far from Centerville (center of the universe for those who are unaware).

In Louisiana we have Dry Prong and Waterproof. Story goes that a newspaper once had the headline, "Three Waterproof Men Die When Boat Overturns".

Just west of Apopka, FL are three small towns. Plymouth is the first one. Zellwood is the farther west one. In between a village refered to as "Plywood".

The best in Canada is in the great province of newfoundland, a little town called dildo...check it out, it's real..

George, Washington and Joe, Montana

The town called Table, NE could very well been a town a long time ago and then it was just an elevator or a rural church. You almost have to really know where it was. For instance 20 miles west of Fullerton, NE there is a spot called North Star which was or is a church and north west of Columbus, NE (where I live) there is place called Oconee which is a old elevator. These places were never incorporated as a village (Village Board and a PO.) Hope that helps.

Rackit (spelling) Nebr. Between Lewellen, and Alliance NE. In one building Fri was Town Hall, Sat was big Dance, Sun clean out the beer bottles and have Church.

Monkey's Eyebrow, KY. Never bought anything there, in fact - ain't sure you can get there from here. One of the local TV weathermen sometimes highlights it.

Table, Nebraska was half way from Gothenburg, and Arnold, Ne. Back in the day it was a country store on a cross road. Now its a corn field. My dad used to talk about it when he would visit his brothers who went to Neb. in 1900 and settled in Arnold, Callaway, Broken Bow and Stapelton.

I've always heard that called "Odencranze Table". I have relation who have been in Arnold forever, and that's what they refer to as.

What is some of your kins last name? My uncles that went to Custer county in the year of 1900, last names of Bean, Watson, Herndon, and Eckart.
