My niece got a job a few months ago in Boston. Of course, this is her first BIG snowstorm that she has had to weather (no pun intended) on her own. She was very diligent in prepping for it- she went out and bought a snow shovel, so she could dig out after the big snow. Trouble is, it's in the trunk of her car, and she can't get to it because of all the snow on top and around the car. Someone suggested she go out and buy a snowthrower to get to it.........

Maybe she should keep the shovel inside the frontdoor,right next to the umbrella.

I played that game before, never again. I turned down my road and hit the hard pack from the snowplow and it stopped me dead. Couldnt see it because of the fresh snow on top. "Shoveled" out with my mittens, worst 3 hours of my life. Well, Christmas at the inlaws was pretty rough one year but I was warm....

I have since learned, shovels are cheap, have 2 and always be sick on Christmas.

My one niece is a blond. Few years back she was in the market for a new car. She bought used because she found one the color she liked. Couldn't get that color in a new one. With the incintives and near 0% interest rates for new she paid almost new price for the car and because it was used got 5.6% over 5 years. Darn thing cost her more at payoff than a new one would have.
