I view Ebay from time to time.
And on Ebay is a guy with the user name of frd1717
This guy has a bunch of stuff for sale, in fact there is no way he has this much equipment in such good shape. He has photos of equipment Case IH MX285 for sale, current bid is $12,500, it is worth 8-10 times that with 1 day left, says he must sell Asap....if fact all of the listings he has is "must sell asap" He has Deere machines too. I do not know if there is a way to report this guy?

I just wanted to give a heads up alert to anyone on this site to not get scammed.

Looks like a new seller with no feedback. But the fact that returns are accepted within 14 days is listed in the ad makes one wonder is it really a scam? Yes these machines are bid at a fraction of their actual price. I am sure we'll find out sooner or later if he is legit.

THis guy has a lot of stuff for sale for sure. Notice all the pictures have a different back ground ??? The stuff is cheap. He has a 0 for a rating , which means no one has rated him yet. Nobody in his right mind would spend the money he's asking with that rating. But that said we all have to get a start someplace , LOL , just not with our money right....JC

Anybody who bids on an item where the location is "United States, United States", delivery is "local pickup only" and the buyer has a zero feedback deserves to get scammed.

All scams, no doubt about it. You can click on "Report Item" on any one of his items and report it, or the easy way is send an Email to [email protected] and give them the information such as seller frd1717 has 59 items listed and they all appear to be scams. His stuff won"t last long once they are alerted.

fle-bay scammers are the same scum that do c-list posting as dealers, without no numbers, address, etc, always using g-mail to respond e-mails...last couple of days while surfing farm-garden c-list, i flagged four posts with pic that don't even match the ad... i know we can't ever get rid of the scum, but i have fun stopping them for that day...

I was looking for something under "Caterpillar D3" and saw several dozers listed by the same seller and way below value. One item even has 12 bids so far. I wonder if the bidders have contacted the seller by e-mail yet? At least he is local, USA in his listing.

I just checked and the same seller has 59 items currently listed. And all are high dollar items at bargain basement prices.

Those are a lot of items to be running a scam on ebay. Usually with a scam if you inquiry about an item they delete it and open a new account under another name. I'm watching some of his items and will watch after the auction for feed back left by the seller and buyer. I have sold on ebay for 12 years and sell a lot for friends. This way I don't have to stick any money into the item other than listing it. May this is what he is doing. It appears this seller is located in Michigan. Many scammers are located in the UK or outside the US.

Same stuff was on there about 3 weeks ago....the scammer must be getting some $$$ or wouldn't keep trying.

The ads should be pulled anytime....

He is wherever you want him to be.

It would be interesting to get two people from two different sides of the country to email him and ask where he's from. If you get two different locations, then we know it's a scam.
