O/T thunder

Very heavy thunder here today with the storms and rain.
The old saying goes "Thunder in Feb. it will frost or flood on the same day in April"

My wife has kept up with that for the last 38 years and its almost on the nose for the most of the time.

I also heard that thunder in Feb. wakes up the snakes--early spring--old people say the dumdest things!

Around here it"s "first killing frost in Fall is six months after the first thunder in Spring". Doesn"t always hold true.

They say the same thing about the frost here. It fails more often than it's right. All I know for sure is that after June 21 I got nothing to look forward to but winter.......
