Need help to replace grease seal on F250.

I need to replace grease seal on f250 1994 Ford PU on rear wheel. I got the drum and axle off. The big nut on the axle houseing has got to come off to get the hub off. How do I get that nut off? Looks like it has some kind of lock nut or something or key to hold in place. Any advance will help.

Thanks Tom, that was what I was thinking it had to have. A special tool of some kind. I will pick one up today.
Thanks,

It looks like a big socket with 4 teeth on it, fit it in the slots on the nut and push in to unlock, then turn.

I forget the proper size - but measure it before you go to the store (the diameter) - they'll most likely have a few different sizes.

Hey there;
I've gone to Auto zone, and rented different sized sockets that I've needed. They return your rental fee when you return the tool, in good condition,

There is a bunch of different sizes yours should be for a dana 44 and they should have it. However they did not have it for my f350 so i just took a pic of it and used a punch and worked it out. Count how many turns and when you put it back don't mess up counting... You don't have to use the tool...

I have the socket if you want to buy it. Used it twice. Did both sides of my 97, 6 years ago.

I went to the napa store today to get one .He said it was $50. It was like cole said, A big socket with 4 teeth.I did not buy it.

I went home, got A round treated wood post, 3 inch, saw off about 6 inches. Got the measurement of the 4 holes. I got 4 nails, ground the head down to go in the slots. Drove them in the post, Made them fit. I push in and then turn, it unlock it and came right off.
I still have my $50 in my pocket.
