Classic v. Modern view

Is it just me, or are only some of the posts in modern view appearing in classic?
I've always just used classic because its what opens first, but today I noticed a couple of posts, that for me, wouldn't entirely open in classic. I don't mean just the quote removed see moden, but simply people's posts/replies simply not present.
 
Something weird is going on... there are also several unrelated postings "stuck together" in classic too. I posted to Chris about it in site comments.

Hope he can fix classic... I much prefer it for reading order, but often use modern for posting pics or editing.
 
I've noticed that too. I've got a feeling classic view takes more to run, and is only here to make the stubborn people happy. That said though, this forum has been around for over 15 years. I think Kim and her staff are probably pretty good at using it.
 
I'm a classic kind of person, you can draw from that what you want. ;)

I noticed the last month or 2, been a few straw messages that are just broken down or not grouped, messed up.

Amazing what they do with this site and how they've kept it together.
