polaris ranger question

Have anyone had any trouble with water in the oil reservoir? I have a 2012 polaris ranger 400 that has been getting water in the oil and today the reservoir exploded when we were feeding with it. It was cold this morning and the vent line was frozen soild. Went to the dealer and no one as heard of this. It is not antifreeze or it wouldn't have froze. So far I haven't got any answers as to what caused the moisture, wondering if the vent line isn't letting the moisture out. We have had crazy weather lately, 70 one day and in the teens a couple of days lateer. We use the ranger to feed with and do alot of starting and stopping. If anyone has any ideas let me know, TC

Could be condensation, and if the oil doesn"t get warm enough to evaporate the moisture...

Had a similar problem with a tractor. Got enough ice in the trtansmission to effectively prevent transmission from working.

I just experience this myself. Did you have luck getting the warranty work done? I pulled the plug and had solid ice. I am not sure if the engine is damaged. I will not start now and I am not sure if the grinding noise I heard before it stopped was the engine running out of oil.
