That is neat. Does not seem to have much rebar.
Sometimes buildings are just in the wrong place.I'd love to have that machine and the jaws.

Wonder why they are using a Cat in Peoria???? My Dad"s cousin worked for them for 43 years, then his son worked for them. Was like State Farm, always moving him around. He now works for Komatsu.

Frank;what do you mean about State Farm? My BIL was raised in Bloomington, graduated ISU,met my sister there, went to work for SF right out of college, and retired from there 40 years later. No moves except two new houses in town.Exception to prove the rule maybe?

My cousin stayed around the area but about every other week he went to the west coast for a week. It was a good paying job. He went back twice after retiring for less than a year each. Last time he worked with IBM to come up with universal software for all the sections. One section had a data base they did not want to give up. It doesn't make sense for a company that large not to have the same software for everyone but they scraped that idea. His son has moved 3 or 4 times but is back in Bloomington. It seem like if you don't move you don't get promoted. Les was making a lot more than me and I was farming quite a bit and had a lot more investment.

Looks too good to be demolished. Seems that's a way of life for our society. A gas station in our town was built adjacent to our Walmart. Was there just a few years, then demolished and now an auto parts store is on that spot.

Businesses need to do a better job of writing a Business Plan and doing due-diligence of the "market place" before proceeding.
