Well the wife is happy. The cleaning lady got here after lunch. The steam cleaner worked pretty well but not perfectly. SOOOO we are going to move that couch into the family room and the wife is going to buy the leather one she "really" wanted for the good living room. So I guess I will get a new shop couch, the old family room one. It does sleep pretty good. LOL

Isn't it funny how something like this happens and you find out that this wasn't the one they really wanted in the first place? Had that one lasted for 20 years you may have never known it was the backup! They always have a contingency plan!

I always said your story of saving the little girls lives in Viet Nam should be made into a movie. Lately as I read your posts on helping Steve,and now your latest story,your life would make a great reality show. When I read the post this morning I thought OMG! We thought we had it bad when I tracked a little grease in on the white carpet. At least you were able to make lemonaid out of a lemon. After helping people in trouble throughout your life you deserve the leather couch. Jim

Well, fix , no man in his right mind would ever install "white" carpet so the fault can't be yours. Matter of fact not many women in their right mind would install white carpet come to think of it. Carpet? Why does anyone have carpet anymore? Laminate is real cheap now, easy to install, very easy to clean and very durable. Carpet is just an environmental cesspool that contains chemicals that will cause cancer, plus it gathers dirt and holds it against the strongest vacuum and/or carpet cleaner.
