OT Last Night's Weather

Well we had lots of wind last night but no damage luckily plus 2" of rain and the temperature has been dropping all morning here in Highland, IL. 30 miles East of St. Louis, Mo.
It is now 48°.

I think February is going to be worse than January. Just my guess though.
 
It's headed our way, 1-2 inches of rain predicted, and high winds tonight, then temp dropping tomarrow! Crazy up and down weather! I still gotta make those red lobster biscuits!
 
We had several rounds of heavy storms yesterday and last night. Melted all the snow and ice. Had one heck of a mess in the cattle barns. Actually had to scrape slop off the top of the manure pack in one barn. We had to change out a gate this morning so we could get one bunch in to another barn. Everything was sweating,the gas loader tractors ran rough as a cob. Everything's bedded up high and dry now,hope they don't walk it in too bad before it turns cold tonight.
I'll have to go out with the box scraper after I feed this afternoon and smooth the ruts over again before things freeze up.
 
You still have the recipe don't you Jay?

Just a tip, bake 2-3 biscuits first and see if you need to any more seasoning so you can add to the mix if needed before baking too many.
 
Yes right here in my phone, I bookmarked it , for safe keeping! Lol, may make them tomarrow or Friday!
 
Most rain I've seen here in about A year and I'm glad to have it. Also glad I got the corall area tiled and new gravel put down....made feedin almost a pleasure this morning!
 
Yep the weather report at noon said it is 42 degrees colder today then it was at the same time yesterday. Hard to get us to this weather when one day it is in the upper 60s and the next down around freezing
 
80 mph gusts come thru the ohio river bottom , just below me ,.ruined a good old barn and tore off the front entrance to an old church,, we used to v o te there up til 30 yers ago , then they built a new church on the hill
