‎"Wally" just made it home with new rear wheel cylinders, new rear brake lines, rebuilt front wheel cylinders, rebuilt carburetor, new wiring to the rear lights/clearance lights/headlights/and turn signals. He's ready to haul some wheat this spring. In case your wondering, I named the truck after Wallace Kennedy, known as Wally who brought the truck into his family in 1970 where it has been until this month. I'm proud to have kept this old truck hauling grain to Overbrook like it has done for the last 43 years.

I did, I stopped at Napa on the way out of town and fixed him up with a new pair of blades too. We got about a 1/4", sure hoping we see some snow tonight too.

We had a red 1964 with a 300 I6 that looked just like that. The short wheel base with the long overhang on the back taught me to respect a full load on a gravel road.

Split rims too?

I showed that picture to my mom and she remembers that truck well. She helped run it for Wally many times and said it was a really nice running old truck. She said she remembered a time it was really muddy and there was a crossing going into a field. They hooked a tractor up to pull the trucks in and out of that crossing.
