I'm a little late in getting this out this morning.

It's neat...
but really surprising that they would advertise something as manly as plow, with FLOWERS all over the place. It's even a little too girlie and pinkish toned for me.

My maternal grandmother was born that year. Got married when she was 16 and had 13 kids. An aunt
is still living and she just turned 85. My late mom was the second oldest. Would have needed 4 or 5 mules or horses to pull that plow.

Back in those days it might have been the Women folk doing the field work. Can't tell if it is a Women's seat on it.

I have a picture of my late mother-in-law somewhere driving a Farmall B pulling a manure spreader. It was taken around 1940. Hal

At some point in our history it was believed that pink was a robust and vigorous color that was suitable for boys and that blue was a quiet and refined color suitable for girls. Things change, I guess.

It may of been easier for the farmer to take a picture like that home to the wife to convince her he needed a new plow...LOL!
