is almost ready to go on the sawmill. We got the ol beast to fire up with no problems.

With many hours under and inside, and operating an 18 (with a TD20 engine) I can attest to the accuracy of your beast comment. Ours had a Bucyrus Erie 12 foot cable operated blade. At the end of a 8 hour day walking was a challenge. Are you going to frag test the universal joint? Jim
 
You can't be too poor- you spend more for paint than I got. By the way, that's one UGLY red....
 
Lyle It is yours and you and I have discussed the fact that they crack the heads very easy. I am thinking if it were me I would want free exaust on bot ports. May be thru the wall with separate pipes. I see the muffler laying there and maybe being up where the outside temp is lower you will
be ok. Just watch the heat and be sure and cool down before shut off. Having the optional second radiator tank should help.

jm, I was hoping you would see the exhaust and comment about it. Im not going to put the muffler on, Im swedging up to 4 inch then out the wall. Do you think that will be OK???
