Pics of a wet weekend at tractor show

Well for the 3rd year in a row Australia day long weekend has been wet making for a boggy tractor show and small nunbers. Least the rain hung off till 11 oclock saterday this year just enough to get the tractor parade in. Sunday was abandon and spent all morning running round pulling, pushing trucks and loading tractors in the mud what fun. Was too wet to get camera out so snapped a couple pics with phone in the rain sunday

The old green truck looks like an Austin Loadstar, probably made in England in the early 1950's.They were exported to all corners of the Commonwealth.

Dads green truck is an Austin loadstar as phil said loaded up with my AWD7. We are located in Queensland near Toowoomba which is 2hrs west of brisbane

why do all the big trucks have those huge guards on them. is it to keep the kangaroos out of the engine?

Yes, we were there, D U F. Camped in the mud. I didn't get many photos unfortunately as were trying to extract car and camper from the mud. At least the daughters got to play on their tractors before the parade. That was the good part of the weekend. Still have one tractor there which i hope to pick up tomorrow.
Cheers,
Rex
