Case 1030 hydraulic flow control unit

I have a Case 1030 (dual hydraulics, 8-speed case o matic, ck, foot clutch) and theres not enough hydraulic pressure to lift the wings on my 20' batwing mower. I have replaced the pump; no improvement. Is it recommended to repair the flow control unit? I have heard that a rebuilt unit costs big $$$ Just to check the batwing mower I hooked up my 430 to it, revved it up, and it lifted the wings.

Bob,
Shouldn't be a big deal, since you replaced the pump. Sounds like faulty releif or thermo releifs in the remote valve. Join us on Case forum, we will walk you through it.

Hello Doc Bob; You do NOT have a 1030 Case-o-matic, as there never was such a beast! As loren suggested, come on over to the Case forum to get a lot of useful help.

Hey Bradley Martin I had a nightmare last night. Something woke me up and told me that it's not Case o Matic it's Draft o Matic. What an idiot I am! If you guys keep kicking my a__, I'll eventually learn the right lingo. I had better because I have a lot of questions about my Case tractors (210B, 430, 930, and 1030). Thanks again. Now if I can just find Case DB said Mr.Magoo!

Thanks again Adirondack Case Guy. I feel better already. Now if I can just find the door to get out of here and over to the Case DB!
