Sore Hands!

I had surgery on both hands yesterday. Trigger finger on the left hand and carpal tunnel release on the right hand. I have had trigger finger surgery before but never had carpal tunnel. Any advice on what or what not to do.

The surgeon said I can remove the splint and bandage on Friday on the carpal tunnel hand and resume most daily activities, but that seems really early to me.

Did you fix that bear problem that you posted the pictures here? that was quite a site all those bears eating that corn.

I put elec. fence up and that stopped them. I went and bought a Bear Lic. because bear season was the next week from when I took the pics. and as you can imagine, never seen the bear again. I had two game cameras out during bear season and not 1 pic.

I went firearms deer hunting about a week after carpel tunnel surgery on my trigger finger hand.

Thank goodness I didn't kill one. I might of hurt something field dressing the stupid thing.

If the doc says to return to normal use, do so. If you don't you could end up with more scar tissue which you don't want.

Use common sense and be careful, but otherwise go about your normal business. I had carpal tunnel on both hands; I was cutting and piling brush the next day, also playing my guitar.
