yes,its an old troy bilt,I bought that one here in nj at a garage sale for 50 dollars, had to fiddle with the gummed up carb, and got it working used it a lot.

That is looking as I come out the front door. I have to look at that scenery when I drive out the driveway on the right side of the picture, when I leave on Sunday night to come back to NJ. Its not an easy thing to do!

Years ago when there was an economic downturn and gas rationing I cleared an acre corner of the woods and planted a big garden. Then for years that spot was planted along with the adjacent field. But decades later I planted it as a garden again, mainly to grow various pumpkins (got one over 500 pounds). I envy you for your rolling land and various plots. But, the main problem to me is.. what to do with all the stuff you grow!!.. unless you do a farmers' market. I couldn't GIVE it all away!

@ gtractorfan:

Just be thankful that you can grow a garden. I don't have a "Green Thumb", just a Black one (grease & oil). The only thing that I have successfully grown is OLDER, not necessarily wiser, but OLDER.

Here is my summer garden picture. Water mellon, and mellon patch, and spaghetti squash bushes, wild tomatoe bush and the dog, looking for a rebbit. Stan
