WOW! Now that is one sweet lookin' pickup! And 4WD also. I had a '72 GMC back decades ago. Great lookin' pickup you have. You should be very proud.

one of mine, another blue chevy lol, thats the original paint on it even though ive been trying to get time to paint it for a year now, may just clearcoat it and keep the original patina too havent decided now, specs are warmed up 454 engine 4 speed manual trans, 4;56 rear gears with limited slip, winch on the deck is 12,000 pto drive, umm it wasnt bought for its fuel economy lol it will pull anything anywhere as long as you dont pass up a gas station on the way, about 6 mpg average, but in 1980 gas wasnt costing what it does now

Hey ericlb
all you need is to switch it to propane and your mileage woe's go away somewhat. I have an '82 GMC like yours runs on propane, gets about 10 mpg, little lack of power, but for 1.22/gallon, I am going to be in heaven! I bought it used in 1991 and it has sat around for many years. This is the year the duramax is parked and it gets it's day in the sun again!
