AC - G tractors, Photo adds

Looks like for 50 thousand man could own 10 AC G
model tractors. Guy sure has a collection of the small tractors. Going to be interesting to see how many sell. Looks like he is flooding the market. What do you guys think, how many will sell?

There was an add on Craigslist here in NY for 10 or so Gs and a bunch of implements a few months ago, but they were not restored and may not have run, I don't recall. I think they were going for 15k for all 10, if I remember right. The Gs are supposed to be the bee's roller skates for truck farmers, I am told, so they are in some demand.

I just looked thanks JM. It looks like the collector was trying to get one AC G with each implement produced. I would love to have 3 or 4 of them.

Nothing but money.. Just call the guy up and tell him how many you want. The running so so ones I see at auction usually go for $ 1500.00 to 2,000.

I would bet that he come real close in getting what he is asking. Some of the attachments he has I have only seen in books. The small tractor market is still pretty hot.

Guys found out that to have an JD 70 Diesel you need a real good pickup and trailer to haul it. You can have a 1/2 ton truck and a larger lawn mower trailer and haul a AC "G".

This is why a JD L ,LA, or M will out sell an A or B right now.

In about 98 my dad bought one with the plow, sickle mower, cults, 4 planet Jr. units with tool bar, and get this a bean puller all for 1400$. Still got it all. Plus i got another G. I don't see em going that high lately.

Side dresser and mower aren't original AC equipment,only has 1/2 of the cultivators as the rear part is missing.The planters are Planter Jr units.With what I've seen them sell for lately he's asking about 2X what they'd bring at a good auction.

I think again it is one of those location things. In this part of the county just not that many folks wanting to plunk down 5 grand for a 35 year old tractor. They all want late model diesel compacts. Guess we will never know haw he came out. I was thinking he was about double what it would take to get them sold.
