That roller you were turning down...
Was that a new piece of stock? IF so where did you get it? I need to make rollers for my wheel horse , and Cub cadet .I can turn it and end drill for shaft .
 
Some were old ones from toro mowers I have, they already had the bore and everything in them. One was a brand new one that was not right from the get go! It was a little over $140. But the one Exmark I have has a steel roller, two stub shafts and sets in two pillow block bearings. A lot better i think. I don't think the steel would bend as easy as these plastic things do. I can take pics of the brackets, etc. if you want. All the mowers are getting their "winter refresh" in the shop right now.
