Need help with question on White 2-180's

Are there different versions of these? I've seen one with red decals on the side and it says it's an '81. I've also seen one that is gray on the side. Both of these were MFWD's (and look awesome by the way). Cat engine output, cab quality, etc. all the same or different? Anyone have/had a MFWD 2-180 and care to share the good or bad? Thanks in advance.

All I can answer is the red stripe question. There shouldn't be any real difference between the silver stripe and first red stripe. Production stopped when White Motors went belly up. When Texas Instruments took over and restarted production, they put the red stripe on them. An 81 model would be one of those early TI tractors. However, beginning in 82,the Series 3 production started. They were red stripes too,but if they were like the rest of the WFE Series 3 tractors, there were differences. One of the most prominent differences would have been the cab. Totally isolated, quieter etc.
