just got sent home from the plant, according to my mind the 55000 lb dump truck just pulled a vertical climb almost went vertical,as a airplane would do, in real life of course it did no such thing, had a few pains in the chest the last week or so, blood pressure and pulse up, but not dangerous yet, feel like i just got off a county fair ride, but i havent been on one in 40 years, any ideas? going to see the dr "assistant" whatever that is at 2pm,

That sounds very much like something that happened to me about two years ago. I was driving on the interstate when suddenly it seemed my pickup had turned into a boat, and it was hydraplaning (no ice, no water.) Lasted about five seconds. Really weird. No recurrences, no other problems since. Hope the same for you.

Could be heart or stroke mild that is but either way nothing to 2nd guess about and can happen to any one at any age. Get the test run that you and your doctors think you need. Also could be a very bad head ache

well the dr assistant, kind of tested took readings talked a little and told me he didnt know, love it when you have to pay somebody to tell you what you already knew when you went in the joint, i guess we'll see what happens

Had a stroke at 27. No age is too young. I waited too long they said. Hopefully by now they have you figured out. Prayers to you.

Happened to my daughter but she is young enough it shouldn't have been a heart attack. Took her into the emergency room-wouldn't waste my time or money with a dr. assistant. They did all the tests and came up with that she was dehydrated. I guess a lot of the symptoms can be the same. Anyway they gave her an IV and she felt like new again. She always drank a lot of Mountain Dew which is high in caffein which contributed to the dehydration. She carry's a water bottle with her where ever she goes now.

DO NOT ARGUE ON THIS. Go to the E.R no questions asked and have them do all the test or you may wake up dead in the morning. So read this grab you coat and old lady and get you but to the hospital NOW other wise you may not ever have to put up with reading what I say again. Oh and have her drive

It's possible you had a panic attack. If you're under a lot of stress or worry lots it can happen. Feels like a heart attack maybe, heart beats fast & feel kind of dizzy. Google panic attack symptoms see if they are similar.

My heart rate on Sunday was 100 and it's normally in the high 50's. Blood PSI is usually 128/70 and mine on Sunday and Monday was 163/94. I had nose bleeds for those two days that lasted for 2 hours each day.
I did not feel good at all for those two days. I just turned 53 last Wednesday. I ate pizza on Friday & Saturday and didn't have a good bowel movement because of the pizza/cheese until last night, after that everything calmed down. I was afraid of a stroke. But yes anxiety and stress can both cause these symptons.

Get a good CV work up NOW. It may be nothing, but early warnings can be something that is quite dangerous. And most can be corrected with simple surgeries. So don't put it off.

I agree with go to E.R. NOW! Not all people have the same symptoms of a heart attack. My mom just thought she was under the weather. Did the doc do an E.K.G.? Blood test?

Had something like that happen to me about 8 yrs ago. Wife took me to emergency room. It was my inter-ear. Can't have any cafeen (spelling) was drinking to much Mt Dew, Coffee etc. Praying you are OK and have figured it out.

What exactly is a "Dr. Assistant"? You were sent home from work, which means something was at least that serious. You aren't feeling up to par, and are experiencing symptoms, but I have no idea of what since I am neither a doctor, or a doctor assistant. So, you call, apparently, a doctors office, explaining no doubt of what you experienced, or are experiencing, and you somehow end up with a "doctor assistant". Is that like an apprentice electrician? A brick mason's laborer? Is this along those lines, except for a doctor?

It's your life, but...

Best of luck, but I would rather count on an expert under such conditions as opposed to luck.

What Allan said, cardiovascular issues are something to see a doctor about immediately, you do not want to take chances or waste any time doing so either.

well i took your advise [ again] and went to the er, they did more testing and some lab work and were waiting to hear, but they did make me an appt. with the cardiologist for tommorrow, in the next town, [ 70 miles away, they have real dr.s there]

i did some research, a dr assistant in basicly like a intern in a hospital, he does have some medical school behind him, but is not ready to practice as a dr yet, [ the one i got obviously wasnt] my real dr was not available due to a medical emergency at the hospital so ive got no problem with that, feeling ok for now, going to work this morning and we'll see how that goes,i got to make a little money someplace this week, [as to posting this on a tractor forum, you never know, there just might be a dr on here, i know of 2 in the US who do collect old tractors, i imagine there are others ]

It’s called a Physician's Assistant. Get used to the term as doctors become harder and harder to see in the US.

Good when it comes to the heart and a stoke etc it is best to do you best to find the problem if you have one that is. Of course things like not eating 3 squares a day or not drinking enough fluid can also cause a problem like the one you had be it is better to know your ok then to find your self 6 foot under because you didn't. I had chest pains a few years back and my pulse did not seem right so I ended up doing a stress test etc but all came out good. What they found was my acid reflex med needed changed
