Custom built quarter scale replica John Deere. Three different models are in museums. Real "Johnny Popper" sound and ability. 2 cylinder diesel, PTO, hydraulics, turn-key.

There are lots of scaled down models of all kinds of tractor now appearing at shows some are even radio controlled lots of very great work in making them. Even threshing machines that work and a combine also keep up the good work.
 
This is a 1/2 sized Massey Ferguson 550 built by Alan Clapp in England...Took him about 5 1/2years but he had to fabricate everything. The second photo is of a full sized tractor. The MF 550 was not sold in USA, therefore you guys will not be familiar with it. I think you will have to agree he did do a great job even if he does make the cab look cramped!

The Massey definitely had way more time put in it both nice tractors though I couldn't build a model of wood cross with Popsicle sticks
 
A vertical diesel engine with a fake flywheel doesn't make a very realistic A John Deere, in my opinion. There are a lot nicer models out there. Most were made with a LUC combine engine that was laid on its side.
