Where to find rubber cleats for steel wheel tractors

Howdy folks,

I"ve got two tractors on steel going into the shop this winter and would like to buy a set of rubber lugs to use in parades. I don"t want to go the route of cutting an old tire and placing the tread on the wheel. I"ve seen the rubber lugs that miller tire sells but I have a problem with their length. I have a JD D with extension rims on the back. The miller lugs are for standard width rims. The other tractor is a JD A on skeleton steel. The lugs for them are made differently than normal lugs. If anyone knows of a place that sells lugs that would work for them I"d be very grateful. I realize there are other options but this is the one I have chosen to pursue. Thanks again and God bless!

For free - visit any Highway Dept and ask them to save a tire tread that they pick up from the road. You can cut it to shape with a sawsall.

You might want to keep an eye on skidloader dealers, they have an airless segmented tire that they use on skidloaders, might be called an airboss, not sure. They are a rubber segment, that bolts on a flat rim.
