If it's a single speed rear end , all you need to do is change the speedo gear in the trans , but you prolly have an electronic speedo , so check with a dealer or shop.
 
FWIW

With the electronic speedo's (VDO I think) that Ford uses on Australian Falcons you can change the drive gear on the transmission unit.

You can use a gps to check your speed. Then from the number of gear teeth you have you can calculate the number of gear teeth you need to correct.
 
Why not use the GPS (Garmin or whatever)(this is the 21st. century) for the speedo and forget about the converson hassel? Armand
