I have watched all day but no post about it.
I thought someone would remark about the train wreck in Miami last night. I heard some boys from Alabama got on their tractors and ran all over some kids from Indiana.
 
K Webb stole the show.
The game was never in doubt. What was in doubt was whether Brent would crawl up in the stands to grovel at her feet. LOL
 
I thought about the smartest thing I heard today was.. If you play football where it snows don't send your team to the NATIONAL CHAMPONSHIP game. If Ala is number one Texas A&M must be close to number 2
 
Haha, thats great Gordo, I was thinking the same thing about Musberger. Actually, I thought about crawling in the stands with her as well... Thats a fine looking women

The SEC as a whole has had a sad showing in the bowl games this year but I think the BCS championship game was played a few weeks ago when Bama played Georgia.

The question I have after last nights game is How in the world can you rank Notre Dame above Georgia or Texas A&M in the final rankings.
 
I am 73, Maybe too old to cut the mustard, but way young enough to lick the jar.

I never cared much for Musburger, but I aint gonna fault him for being fond of women, especially a great looking one. Sounds like she aint married, so I hope she slipped him her number.

I feel bad for Mike Golic: Host of Mike and Mike (greatest sports talk show) as he had two kids on the ND team...that having been said, I am in the middle of a large Irish Catholic area, so many in your face ND fans...so I am laughing; I told them that ND had absolutely NO CLUE about what they were going to run into! Good to be right! LOL
That having been said I wish it coulda been a better game like the Geargia/"bama game was!
 
Why would you say the SEC had a bad year in Bowl games The top teams like Alabama,Texas A&M,SC,Georgia won their games some also rans lost and the only upset was Florida getting beat by a very good Louisville.Now the MIDGET (misnamed
Big)10 had a very bad year as usual
 
If Notre Dame would lower their academic standards to the (non-existant) level of the SEC, they would win every year.
 
Traditional Farmer
For us there is college football and then there is SEC football. Other teams from other conferences may win 10 to 12 games a year but who do they play.
If you look at the 6 ranked SEC teams (LSU; South Carolina; Georgia; Florida; Texas A&M; Alabama) you will find that they only lost games during the year to other SEC teams. No one from any other conference beat them not even once.

And then both LSU and Florida got upset by non SEC teams in the bowl games. We call that a bad showing because no non SEC team should ever beat a SEC team. No way no how. Just look at Notre Dame. They won every game this year but when they finally play a SEC team they get run off the field. That game looked like boys playing on one team and men playing on the other team.

Yes we get teased about how bubba we are or our GPA but here in the deep south we are use to that. But we have to agree the SEC dominates college football.

That might be ending when a certain Ohio bred, former SEC coach is able to take his team to bowl games. There is Urban renewal going on in Columbus, Ohio.
