how thin can they make a hamburger patty at a fast food place and still call it a patty? bought one at wendy's which had billed at 25% more meat, believe screen wire is thicker.

Not sure but the last one I got from BK was thin enough to run though my new printer and print on both side with on pass.

PS the tomato was thin enough to use for window glass.

About once every ten years, I'm good for White Castles, and after I have them, I'm good for another twenty years until I'm ready for them again. On Saturdays, I used to stop in at Burger King and get my lab a double cheese burger because he loved them. One Saturday I tried a double cheeseburger at McDonalds and he ate it, but got real sick for a couple of days, so never did that again. He's gone now, so I don't have a reason.

in a silly way you are answering your own,,,like they say, you get what you pay for... myself, i got to a good burger joint that isn"t a fast food chain, where they serve you a good piece of meat, i may pay a little more, but i know that i got somthing better that fast food slop...my $.02

I think 5 guys prints there patties with a xerox machine but they make up for it by charging double.

How can they even call them HAMburgers when there is NO HAM in them, just BEEF? Where's the PORK?

BK was running a 55 cent special on their whopper, commemorating the 55 year of the sandwich. I stopped in, they didn't mention to say you had to buy one and get the second for 55 on the commercial. The first was like 3.55, I said you can keep your hamburgers.

Having spent some time many many years ago as a teenager on the grill at the chain you mentioned... they have a time goal to turn an order. So to help it cook quicker during a lunch rush, I used to nudge the grill a little higher temp and press cook the burgers with the spatula. Quicker times and flatter burgers... but I liked mine crispy anyways.
Nowdays, I have to be desperate to eat chain fast food. Prefer the local mom and pops, but sometimes you gotta eat...

Years ago I saw an ad sign in White Castle that said 'White Castle burger for breakfast. Why Not!'I kind of enjoyed eating them for lunch every so often. Of course you had to eat a half dozen of them to fill up.

I order the Triple with bacon, and get chili for the side instead of fries. It fixes the problem of not enough beef, on the other hand it will set you back around $8 for the combo. IIRC its called the BACONATOR.

Wait, I hear something, oh its my arteries hardening!!!

I'd stop going if I were you! Lol that's funny. I remember about 8 years ago on a 90 degree day in June we were mulching plant beds for a customer. For some reason it was always extra hot at this house, not much shade were we were working, we edged the beds, and started running bark mulch, I think the job took 18 yards. On one of my trips to get a load of mulch I figured I'd stop at Mcdonalds and get the guys some cheeseburgers. When I got back they were happy to sit in the shade eat and have a break. We go back to work, next thing I know there runnin to the woods with the tp from the trucks! Lol I don't know if it was the cold water, the heat or the Mcdonalds food! Lol

Years ago I went to a State repub convention. Running a bit late I went thru the BK drive thru for breakfast. Didn"t know you could cut bacon that thin and still have two sides to it!
