If it"s being commanded open or physically hanging up or open . Several inputs can affect it . Power steering , park neutral switch , a/c input etc. any codes ? Not sure if this is drive by wire or not . If so could be Throttle actuator or APP . Gonna need a good scanner to trouble shoot this, not just a code reader . [Reply]  [No Email]

JACKSON, 01-01-2013 19:42:15   Don't know of anything specific - but I'd say at least do the basics: check engine codes first - even if the check engine light isn't lit. check fuel injector pressure clean mass airflow sensor although I tend to agree with gene that modern engines can be too complicated to work on - the upside is you usually have some great diagnostic info available to you telling you exactly what's wrong.
