Wishing everyone a healthy and happy New Year. Thanks for all your help and advice over the past 12 months. We would also like to thank everyone we met for their kindness they extended to us on our vacation to Canada and the US during the summer. As usual we saw many fantastic sites as well as met a lot of nice people.
We spent the 31st December with friends eating and partying until the early hours of the 1st January, we were a little late in rising today and have spent the day relaxing. Tommorow we hope to do a walk up a local hill called Bennachie with the family, hope we can still do it as its been a few years since we were last up. The first time we did it our two boys were about 6 and 8 and they needed some encouragment and help to make the top but as the years progressed they were able to match our pace, the last time we did it the parents were left behind on the race to the top. Will post some pictures if we are succesful.
Looking for a project, does anyone have a Fordson e27n Perkins 6 cylinder diesel for sale, close to Toronto would be good
Bill

Doesnt seem like a problem as long as its put in the hold luggage and NOT in hand luggage. Tractors I take back in 40 foot steel containers but again you need to be sensible with what's placed in them.

We try to visit tractor friends at a place called Gorrie about a couple of hours west of Toronto every time we visit Canada. My great grandfather emigrated to Alberta for a couple of years way back around the early 1900's.

I made it to Glasgow when I was in the Navy. Ship stopped at the sub base. Nice country would like to come back some day.

Don't remember much about the first trip. People kept buying me BEER.

And a Happy New Year to you as well. Cannot help you with the tractor but do know of some neighbours that will be visiting Scotland in the next few weeks....maybe they could put it in their luggage? You have probably answered this before but where are you near as far as a city name? Another neighbour here loves your photos (hint, post some more please)He visited Scotland a number of years ago and wants to do it again sometime.

I live about 25 miles north of Aberdeen just outside a small village called Auchnagatt. Where are you located?
Tractor in a suitcase would be good, everytime I visit Canada and the US any spare space in my luggage gets filled with tractor parts.
I will keep in mind the pictures request, there should be some if we climb the hill tommorow although checking the forcast suggests rain tommorow.

Like I told family friends who went to England last year - Do as I do - don't bring your best under clothes - just throw them away as you wear them - works for me while traveling far away from home. When they returned they had less cloths.

More room for tractor parts.

Happy holidays to you and family.
