i have been looking at kuhn hrb 302d power harrow. i have 32 acre hay field, the wild hogs keep it torn up.discing and smoothing in march-april sets back grass to almost june for first cutting.the tractor time and fuel pulling 12 ft disc and then drag harrow to smooth is getting old. have tryed 5 ft tiller and thats real slow.question, is power harrow any faster than tiller, would packer on power harrow make this a one pass and done deal.field is costal bermuda which grows from roots so spreading to left and right would help in growth and coverage.the hrbs drop to 8 in.deep, i dont think i would need that much.sorry to be so long. east tx. sandy clay soil few rocks at all.

thank you for your ideas

They look real close to the old Leley rotara. They pulled hard and where really for taking worked ground and making it smooth. I am talking about 15 horse power per foot. I also think they would leave the ground way too loose for your grass.

thank you mr. jd. what i am looking at is 9 ft 10 in. digging /cutting wide. 60 min hp, 100 max . thats fits 4 or 5 of my tractors.seed beds? whats a hay pasture, place to grow grass hay, what i want is smooth place to cut, rake and bale. a hog root is 4-5 inches deep at most, mine are apart 4-5 foot. i know im new school but use my 47 H farmall to dig fence posts ,wide front after market three point with power up and down 9 inch augger .google / i dog pile, power harrows.side to side seams better than tiller trying to gig down. i know that im looking at are mostly in europe and australia and a few in the north west. ytube shows them but dont show how much is covered and how fast.
