Well since other had been talking about canned sort I figured why not plus the wife had been wanting me to do it any how. Over this summer the wife picked strawberries and then froze them because she would get a few here and there. Well those few here and there added up to be enough for me to can 7 pints of strawberry jam plus since it was cold and snowing out it just helped the house stay warm

8am I only see that time of day during deer season or if I have to get up to drive to a V.A, appointment other wise I might get out of bed by 9am. Now the eggs those I have and they are less then a week old if not less then a day old. Bacon I do not know about but deer steak I do have or sausage. But then you would also have to figure out which is best. The jalapeno jelly or the strawberry jam or the peach jelly or the black berry jelly or maybe the apple butter since I did all those this year LOL

LOL plus I did a whole lot of other stuff this summer as for canning. Salsa, sweet jalapeno slices rad cabbage apple rings relish stewed tomato's and a few other things

old,
Oh, yum! Now you have to bake a loaf of bread.

Great idea...I never thought of freezing them and then cooking into jam at a later date!

I like to make "freezer jam" from berries - it is good flavored, but not as thick as cooked jams.

I do a whole lot of canning every year. I did Jalapeno jelly, Peach Jelly, Black Berry jelly and apple butter and that is just the tip of the ice berg so to speak
