power steering failure dont know for sure what is wrong,have hyd press but doesnt seem to turn very easy lots of resistance,what do i do tks DANNY L KINDER CLEARMONT MO 660 254 4150

Check your fluid and make sure you do not have water in the fluid. Milky fluid say water and water in this weather means frozen parts. Etc. Since I am in Missouri I'll call you in a few

Worst case scenario; the power steering rack broke loose from the assist cylinder. My 460 U did that. Couldn"t get parts so I converted it to a 606 style front. Just hoping there isn"t a mechanical break to your problem. Good Luck
