Iron prices

My iron pile let me down today. When I scrap something I save all the straight pieces for future projects. It's been a while since I had to buy new iron. I needed some angle iron to make a battery box. Seams like I have everything but a piece of 2 in angle iron. I stopped at my local supplier that also sells used, but they only had new stuff. So for a piece of 2 in. x 10 ft angle I am out $17.00. Seams a little high, but what isn't. Stan

So I should wait a couple of weeks to sell any scrap? What is your reason for this prediction? On the news recently they said the steel industry hit new highs but is starting to level off. Most of the MN iron range is running well, and the product is not going to china!

If only they gave you complementary small jar of vasoline with teflon it wouldn't feel so bad.
