OT old caps

What do you do with your old caps? I pick one up here and there, then wear it almost ragged, but I don't want to throw it away. Alaska, fishin trips, tractors, from all places. Just keep stacking them doesn't seem right. thinking about a wall in the pole barn, something better than a nail. Each one brings memories. suggestions?

I don't do anything with them. SWMBO usually gets tried of smellin them, and tosses them. I just dig into the pile and come out with a new one according to the season. When I need a new clean one to go somewhere, I just dig into the pile. When one of the g-sons needs a new one, they just dig into the pile. Every expo, seed sales dinner, field day, and trip, I usually come home with a few, and they just go onto the pile. Never seems to go down very far...

I usually find them on hooks in the backroom under old sweatshirts and coveralls that have been there for years. Suppose I should round them up someday and do something with them. I keep thinking I'm gonna build another building someday, kind of a personal museum for things like that,my old FFA jacket, toy tractors, horsedrawn plows, you name it. Trouble is,the more I think about it,the bigger it'll need to be.

I'm kinda like you, I hate to throw them away. I have about two grocery bags full now.Several of the business advertised on them are no longer in business. I, like has already been mentioned, have been wanting to build a small building or fix a room to display some small stuff. Doubt if I will ever get it done though.

I have a sentimental attachment to them also. I cant seem to throw one away, I have a pile in the bedroom closet that just keeps growing. I have an old Deere hat I wore years ago that some of my friends would think i was crazy if they saw me with it on now.lol I have some of my Grandfathers hats also they mean a lot to me. i have to say I have never thought of displaying them but that would be a more respectable use for them.

I'm the same way; I have 3-4 contractor garbage bags full in my bedroom closet. I really need to sort them out some day, and put them back into the bags in some sort of order. LOL

I haven't worn a cap since I left the Marine Corps 49 years ago.

I might wear a straw hat on a hot day in the summer, or a fur lined helmet on a cold day, but the rest of the time I'm bare headed.

I cant get rid of em either, I have my grandpa and dads hardhat on the wall and god willing I will put mine next to them in 20 or so years!

I don't wear the baseball caps too much. If I go to town I may, depends on the wind.
I do buy myself a new straw hat for planting though and wear it when I am out farming. I should remember to take a picture or video of this next fall, but I wear it all year. Then I run it through the combine when the crop is harvested. The chopper shredded it pretty good this year, didn't finish on corn..

Put em in a ziplock bag and staple it to the shop wall.Wash the dirty ones first.A neighbor has several hundred hanging from his shop ceiling.
