Today, it"s still fairly near the shortest daylight hours here in the north hemisphere.
What are you local sunrise, sunset times and hours of sunlight?
8:01AM sunrise, 4:55PM sunset for 8hrs, 54minutes sunlight. East coast of Lake Huron.

Not sure exactly, but seeing as how I'm on the eastern side of Wisconsin, we're not too far behind the central time zone. Want to say it's dark by 4:30- ussually I'm still inside the building so I only get to really see the sun if I step outside on my break.

I hate this time of year...

*just checked, officially it set at 4:21 today*

Used to drive through Exetor but now bypass the long slow towns. Using county 31, 84, airport road and 10. Hit old highway 4 just north of Dave's Farm of YouTube fame. Went there once . Interesting Dude for certain.

I don't pay much attention, but was just looking at this thread when the nice man on the radio gave a little info. I guess our sunrise time doesn't turn around until next week- latest sunrise will be 7:57 AM, so probably about 7:forty something now. Sunset has already turned around, and is about 4:30.

I guess I always assumed both sunset and sunrise both "turned around" on the winter solstice date, but aparently not.
