As others have said...
My husband and I appreciate all the help given us from so many on this website. You have helped us learn a lot about our old Farmall Regular and we really appreciate it. No doubt we will have more questions in the future.

We both enjoy the variety of postings and photos here...and though he never uses the computer, I share many posts with him and show him the photos posted by so many. We both enjoy this site very much.

As others have stated, Kim and Chris and YT are simply great. I sent Kim a Christmas card and a small gift a c0uple days ago.

Thank you all again for help given… advice, instruction, where to locate parts, what reference books to buy, etc.

JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON! Can't wait for candlelight service tonight. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all YTers round the world!

Honest I really think I can put that back together and have a nice tractor I just don't know what to call it.

MERRY CHISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT.
on dasher on prancer, oh well we all know the rest.

THANK YOU for the pictures. I managed to get a picture up here once, but it was unimpressive. I've never been a camera/picture taking person. It's too bad because the Fingerlakes region is very picturesque. I guess you all will just have to travel through here!

Aw heck! That'll buff out!
Merry Christmas to everyone and thanks for letting Leggie and me be here.

SweetFeet Merry Christmas to you! A couple of rattle cans of Dupont paint and that would look like a Dupont restoration!!

The Red,

Merry Christmas to you and yours also.

You just never know - but one could end up restored someday. Funny, we thought our Regular was tough - but husband read a restoration story in Antique Power where the guy started his restoration with half the tractor missing. It was a Graham Bradley. I have not read it yet, but intend too.

rrlund,
Either duct tape or super glue fixes most anything!
Have you ever seen the duct tape wallets? Kind of funny.

Bob Bancroft,
Thanks.
Will post a couple more pics when I have more time. Crazy busy at work now until at least mid-January.

Jimmy,
Between the arrival of our first grandchild this fall - and starting a new job in October...I just have not gotten the Markle book read yet.

Our F20 serial number is FA36525...which the YT serial number chart indicates as a 1936. *The problem is I do not know the MONTH of its production...so we are not sure which bolster should go on there.

Our bolster casting code is .1.13.F. (which should be a 36). But our tractor has a castle top on the steering gears and I think you and possibly JaNicholson said it should be smooth.

The bolster we bought with the smooth topped cover over steering gears has a casting code of .3.13.E. (which should be a 35) ... and both you and Jan Nicholson said they used the 1935 front ends on early 1936 tractors.

Problem is, we are still unsure which way to go...
1. only put on the smooth top
2. replace the entire bolster and smooth top

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family!
