Christmas Tradition

I just finished making fudge and packing it up for family members this year.
I do it every year, with a variety of flavors.
Regular fudge in the picture below, peanut butter, white chocolate, butterscotch,
milk chocolate-cherry, maple (made from Michigan tree syrup) divinity, etc.
I know you guys have some traditions. What are they?

Dad and g-pa usually worked Christmas eve(when we would open gifts). Ma would make a big pot of chili and home made bread. We'd go to church, then drive around looking at the lights. By the time we got home, both had arrived from work and Santa had been there. Did the same with our kids. This year the g-daughter is with us, will do the same with her.

Ho Ho Ho to all...don t. ....

I'll take the white chocolate. I make a good Chex mix and give every body a bag. This year I made white chocolate pretzels with a toasted pecans on top.

Dr. Walt, I would if I could!
My family usually gives me a good ribbing over how
five pounds of fudge can add 50 pounds to the waist. :)
I made 15 pounds of it this year!

"So your a self proclaimed fudge packer? "
In this sense of the term, yes. LOL
Merry Christmas to you too!

I definitely NEED to eat some of your fudge, I could
sure use that extra 50 pounds. I weigh the same as I
did when I was in Jr. High School, 50+ years ago
(145 Lbs.) .

Royce: A very Merry Christmas to you & yours, and
have a safe and Happy Holidays.

Where do I place my order at? that sure looks delicioous. Mom makes some of fudge with chopped walnuts in it. Sometimes she also makes Anise candy (kind of a rock candy with Anise flavoring as kind of a tradition at her house.

In our family the tradition seems to be Grandpa(me) making jerky for everyone to chew on for 2-3 days. Maybe fudge would be easier?

I make some venison jerky Paul. Good stuff.
I don't think fudge is easier.
It's more expensive to make and doesn't last or store as long.
On the bright side, my grandkids love both!

at our house the granddaughter comes and her and
grandma make roll out Christmas cookies. we have a
great time.

Looks like my new tradition will be driving to your house for jerky and fudge since you are only an hour or so.

Our tradition, dinner on Christmas eve with one side of the family, and dinner again with the other side on Christmas day.

"Looks like my new tradition will be driving to your house"

You would be welcome!
Maybe I should bring it to you so you could show off that roadster!

Dinner for us at 6 this evening as well.
I always enjoy get-togethers with family.

Merry Christmas!

Maybe I will drive it out to MMOGTA next year. I took the supercharger and the nitrous off the engine. It got away from me at 65 and just about put it around backwards on the expressway. I knew 700hp and 2200lbs was a little on the lunatic fringe but I figured I could keep my foot out of it most of the time.

Dont know what the HP is now, I do know I can drive it a lot easier and not be white knuckled the whole time. SWAG"ing it might be 350hp.
