O.T. water pumpjack

They are getting hard to find, I have bought quite a few the last couple of years and when I do find them a lot of times they are priced way out of sight. The ones I have bought are for an Amish friend that is a machinery jocky that I sell a lot of machinery to and he does not try to undercut price to get cheaper, many a time he has asked if a certain figure was enough. If I had a dozen he would take them all. Going with what he can pay me for what I find and his markeup that he has to have to stock for resale ones that I have found they are asking more for than he can resell them for and this is for use. For a good unit you are looking at up to $150 and that is not for something like a John Deere either.

I do not want to steal your thread but I would like to find a small Oil well pump. This is just for show would make it turn by the side of the road just to drive my neighbors crazy. Probably not a working oil well within 300 miles or more of this place. what would a man have to pay for an old oil well jack..

I've got one. It's a Cornhusker brand that was made in Fairbury, Nebraska. It would make somebody one heck of a piece of yard yard, but it still works. Matter-of-fact, it's still looked up to the well at my mom's place. When I was a kid, we used it to water the garden when there was no wind. I ran an ad on Craigslist a couple of months ago trying to sell it. If you have a way to retrieve old Craigslist ads, look in the antique Lincoln Nebraska section. Otherwise, I could send you a photo.
