.....for a different topic. (Oh, I know; someone will get their bloomers in a ball about it but anyway..) And besides, the world didn't end....

Any Cleveland Browns fans out there? Is help REALLY on the way, what with new ownership and rumors of a new coach? Will I REALLY get to see them in the playoffs before I "move on?" (Before answering that, consider that I'm 69 years old!)

Thanks, and a merry orange and brown Christmas to all!

you had good teams in the past what happened ? so they lost a Super bowl ( never to be heard from again ) who was the coach then ? where did they go ?I'll bet they won where they went . it's kind of like what happened in Dallas(Jerry Jones will never get another coach like the first one he had)and in Washington until Washington settled on a coach , they got a lot of good ones they didn't keep .

It could be worse. I was a lions fan. One good year out of 40..... then poooof.

But since I moved to KY, now I am a bengals...Bungles fan. Not much of a trade up.

Ifin I remember right. Back in the 80's didn't they have a couple good teams that lost in the championship game in the afc against elway and the broncos. Those were some good games.

Maybe you should try another team. Like the Cowboys. I can't believe their luck. Colts too. If the Browns ever rose to the occasion they'd probably leave town.... again.

oooh, grew up in MI and was a lions fan, that said(go blue! instead), now live in KS and am a chiefs fan(i guess). it would be really great to have winning team here too. One super bowl win in 42 yrs(1970) not bad for a relocated Texas team. Best o luck with the Browns..

Well,

I"m a diehard Broncos fan, so i hope the Browns dont pick this week to turn it around. Maybe next week would be OK though....

Go Pack! BTW, the ONLY publicly owned franchise. The rest are owned by billionaires with too much money and not enough things to do with it...

Of course I am a Vikings fan, but I do agree that its cool the way the Packers are owned.

That said, even if the Packers were playing al Qaeda, I would have to cheer for the terrorists.

Watching a bunch of overgrown, over paid athletes chase a ball around a field is silly.
I used to have a Border Collie that would chase and bounce a ball around the field for hours.
But he at least had enough sense to quit when he was hungry or thirsty.
I can't honestly say that most sports fans are as smart as that dog was.
HS sports are ok but the rest of it ought to be banned.

At least you have seen a Cleveland championship. I"m 47 and have never seen nothing. You ve seen a lot more 20 game winners in 69 yr that I"ve seen in 47.Steeler"s losing always plus.
