I ran across an ad on C/L of somebody looking for a female farrier and thought of Your friend.
I don't know how few and far between Lady farriers are, but maybe You can pass this on.
This Guy sounds desperate.

I will pass the information along to Mandy. The trouble is that it is 150 mile from where she usually works. The horse owners just wants the hooves trimmed. So I would think that they would not be willing to pay for traveling that far.

Sounds legit enough ? but then you never know ? The guys in Ohio that answered the ad for a farm job showed up and were hunted down like deer !!!
