White 2-150 turbo

Just went through our white 2-150 and did some engine work.. Considering putting a turbo on it for more power pulling the chisel plow and discbine. What you Guys think? Would it burn up the new clutch or motor?

I can't imagine you would need a turubo for a discbine. I would leave it alone and let it be what it was.

You should post this on the Oliver forum. There will be people there that will know things like weather or not your motor has oil cooled pistons and all that stuff that turboed motors need in order to last.

If you put the post anywhere put it on the minneapolis moline one. It has a minneapolis moline motor in it and turbo charging shouldn't hurt it. The g1355 same tractor some had a turbo dealer installed, had a differant name than turbo, but it was a turbo can't think of the name now. If you turn it up past 180hp the clutch will slip, then you will need to put in a 2-180 white clutch

Just thought of it. it was on the tip of my tounge before. It was a altitude compensator, installed for high altitudes, but was a turbo just gave it a fancy name but was dealer installed on some of the 585 mm motors

This engine is fine, all motors have a bad one in a bunch and you must of had one of them because turboing won't hurt it,there a dependable motor especially with the external oil pump which you 2-150 has. It will be fine If you turbo charge it.
