3010 lift links

I have a 3010 with the lift links on the 3 point frozen and cannot be adjusted.Any suggestions on getting them free? I have tried pb blaster but this has not worked.I'm worried about stripping the threads if I use to much force. Does anyone have a pair that they are willing to sell?

I think you're going to have to use heat. I've got a couple of Deere center links that don't get turned much,so when I do want to adjust them,I usually have to put some heat to them.

When I bought mine from a dealer 12 years ago, they were frozen. 5 minutes withthe blue wrench did the trick. Propane might even work.

They can be a royal PIA!Heat..Remove from tractor, heat to cheery red(if possible),imediatly dunk in cold water. The sudden heat/contraction will usually 'break' the hold on rust.Use a big pipe wrench after it is cool.Use the silver 'anti-sieze' on threads.that stuff lasts(grease/oil will dry out) and will prevent rust.

rrlund,on those stubborn top links, once you have them 'loose',extend them out, brush the threads, apply 'anti-sieze' liberally. The threads will stay easy to turn.Steve
