jd 70 diesel fuel tank slime

What can I use to clean the slime that formed inside th bottom of the diesel tank,black slime. I have pressure washered the tank and pused some out, but need more cleaning power. Any ideas??

Read the post on fungus in the fuel, you likely have the same in your tank.

Use E-85 gasoline it will work

I use a product called "kill em" for my diesel truck. Kills the bacteria that can form in diesel.

1 Flush it out real good,
2 add 5 gal of new clean diesel, and this stuff.
3 Let it sit for a day then
4 fill the tank the rest of the way.
5 Enjoy the clean tank.

Don't forget to clean out fuel filter canister's,they will be full also.I have been down that road.

50/50 water and Clorox about 1gallon spread it all around let it set for an hour then fill tank to top with water let set over night then drain and flush good. Let dry then it should be clean.

How does the e-85 work? just dump it in and leave it for a few days and drain? I have heard this works just need some more details.
