My hunting cabin. (pictures)

I built a 8' long by 6' wide by 6' high hunting blind/cabin on an old running gear I had. I tinted the windows with a real light tint just to minimize being seen. I painted the inside black and put a leftover piece of carpeting on the floor to cut down on the noise. This will be my 8 year old sons first time deer hunting and Im hoping this will make for a memorable hunting trip! Enjoy

Wow!!!! Way cool!!!! And when hunt ing season is over it will
make a most excellent secret mobile club house!!!! Nice job!

Good idea.
Been thinking about building an 'upgraded' deer stand myself.
Methinks the lad is a bit young yet so I would be sure to add a bunk.
Thanks for the photos.

LOL My 18 month toddler wont be going! He was just with me today when I was out there. Late season muzzleloader dont start till the 17th. My 8 year old son and I will be going. It wouldnt suprise me if he "took a nap" while waiting on the deer though!

I built one about the same size and use it for a
fish house in the winter, It"s sitting in my yard
waiting for the ice to thicken right now. Mine has a
bunk in it and I might have a nap once in awhile!

I figure if the wife ever serves me the big "D" papers that should be about the size of house I'll be able to afford. Nice lookin place!

That's a great job, my little one is 14 months and walks pretty
good, but not good enough to take her outside! Neat license
plate on your truck! Don't know what it means thought. Lol

That's cooltastic! My BIL built one a few years ago, when his arthritis started acting up, but it is stationary and doesn't look nearly as good as yours.

That"s a fine looking shack. I have one about 1/3 the size. My
8 yr boy and I went out for his 1st hunt and he took a nap
woke up looked around sleepy eyed and saw a doe 30yds
away. The look on his face was priceless combination on
where the he!! Am I and hey there"s a deer. When he figured
it out he looked at me and yelled THERE"S A DEER! It was the
only time I heard a deer laugh. Good luck and becarefull.

Neat looking setup.

I have a ground blind and a small two wheeled trailer with a deck about the same size. I've thought about permanently merging the two.

A buddy of mine did the same thing. Even has a small propane heater in it.
