I saw that on the 10/11 news. That girl ain't the brightest in the world.... My wife is from a little, bitty town in Texas and about 6-8 years ago her home town bank was robbed. The robber waited outside of the bank and forced his way into the bank when the first employee of the morning came to unlock the door. The robber got away with about $50,000 and authorities didn't have any suspects whatsoever. About 6 months later, a guy got arrested near Houston for fighting in the middle of the street, basically a disorderly conduct charge. The cops found the money from the bank robbery in his pickup, most of the money still in the paper bonds or the currency straps still attached that had the bank's name printed on the straps. To solve the case, all the Houston cops had to do was call the local authorities and ask if they had some money missing from the local bank. Most of the money was recovered. If the crook had any smarts at all, he would have only been arrested on a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge. |
