Tuff Bilt Tractors

I found a Tuff Bilt tractor for sale. I was wandering what everybody thought of them. This one appears to be made in the 70's and needs work. The hydro trans works well and the engine smokes some. There are no attachments, so, how hard would it be to find a cultivator for it. It doesn't seem to have ever been shed kept. He told me to make an offer but I have no idea what it's worth. He would probably take $500 but I don't know if I could get my money back if I fixed it up.

The tractors are still for sale, as well as parts and implements. The folks there are great to deal with and will bend over backwards to help you out.

I've never seen a tractor with a cute name that could live up to it.........tuff built, farm king, anything like that...even a simple thing like a grain wagon...farm king????...whatever.....just bs!!!

One of the best cultivating tractors you'll ever find and as was said they're still in business.It uses a Cat 0 3pt hitch front and back so implements can be found as Cat 0 is what many garden tractors used.$500 is real cheap as they usually bring at least a couple thousand.

I have a tuff bilt from the 70s and I love it it had a 16 hp briggs and did an excelent job but cam shaft broke and wiped out the motor I had a new 20 hp Kobota diesel so I switched motors and sure made a big difference It will do things a big tractor wont do Tuff Bilt is still in business and sells tractors and emplements they are located in Grant Alabama and are very helpful with any questions and products you have or need if you can still buy the used one you cant go wrong with it all parts are aviable

Seems like a decent deal. Looks like they are $8,995 (MSRP) for new ones, not that that means much. No idea what the market for them is. Tractor House dot com might be a help there.
