I was working in Racine CO Wisconsin today ( near Waterford ) and the guy on the farm told me a new one that I have never heard before. Like my great grandpa used to say "the steam that makes the whistle blow don't turn the wheels" I bet old J.I. Case probably had something to do with that one.

Reminds me of a little poem I once saw.............

Tis not my job to run this train,
or order where it go,

Can't even be a brake man
The whistle I can't blow

Dont even fire the engine,
or even ring it's bell...

But let the darn thing jump the track ,
